The inner liner (also known as the inner surface) is composed of the surfacing mat and knitted mat as the reinforcing materials based on the corrosion-resistant resin, with the resin content of greater than 90%, and it is also known as resin rich layer, whose primary role is to prevent erosion by the media and to guard against the immersion and corrosion of water or other medium and prevent leakage.
The structural layer uses the alkali-free fiber winding roving as the reinforcing materials, with the resin content of 30%~40%. It can meet the design requirements by changing the winding angle of fiber at different layers according to the stress and pressure. Its main function is to ensure the stress of the products from directions to ensure the strength and stiffness of the FRP.
The sand-adding volume of the sand-adding layer shall be designed according to the rigidity requirements of the products, with the sand-adding volume of greater than 30% and the resin content of greater than 25%, whose main role is to improve the rigidity of FRP pipes.
The surface layer is to protect the outer surface of the product by the corrosion-resistant resin of the outermost surface, anti-aging agent, UV light absorber, toughening and so on so as to achieve the purpose of anti-aging.
